TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These are the terms and conditions for Legal Skills (Pty) Limited with registration 2023/841715/07 and constitutes an enforceable agreement between yourself and us in respect of the use of our platform legalskills.co.za.
The use of our website is subject to our Privacy Policy, also available on this website.

You will need to create an account to use our platform including the use thereof in gaining access to content.
It is your responsibility to keep access to your account, including your account password safe.
You may not provide your password or access to your account to any third party and you must notify us immediately if a third party has gained access to your account.
Upon death, we will close your account.
Users need to be at least 18 years old to open an account.
You can terminate your account by sending us an email at accounts@legalskills.co.za.

When you purchase a course, we will give you a license to view the content.
The right or license we hereby grant you to view the content is not transferable.
You are not allowed to copy or sell the content in any manner or form. Such copying will constitute copyright infringement which carries criminal sanction and for which civil damages can be awarded to us.
Should the course material become outdated, we reserve the right to remove it from our platform and you will no longer be able to have access thereto.

When making payment you agree to make use of a valid payment method.
You agree to pay for the course before we grant you access. We reserve the right to disable your access should you have used an invalid form of payment.
We do not offer any refunds on courses purchased unless there is a technical fault on our platform which we are unable to resolve.

We have sourced experts who are the best in their field to produce these courses for us. We do, however, make no warranty that the content is suitable for any specific purpose or will prevent any harm.

You are entitled to cancel this agreement with us. On cancellation you will no longer be able to view the content and will not be entitled to a refund or credit of fees already paid.
These terms and conditions constitute a binding agreement between you and Legal Skills (Pty) Limited.
This agreement is subject to South African Law and you hereby agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of a South African court to hear any dispute relating to this agreement.

Should this platform be down for whatever reason or for planned maintenance, you will have no claim against us. Services provided are on an “as is” basis and “as available”. We make no warranty about the availability, suitability, reliability, security, lack of errors or accuracy of the content.
You are not allowed to assign your rights in terms of this agreement to any party.
You agree to refer any dispute herein to the Small Claims Court in the applicable Magistrate’s Court where you reside.
